A dollar spent at "A Comic Shop," is a dollar we will use towards your experience at the shop. Stop in anytime so, Aaron, Jason, Daniel, Mike, and Logsdon can show you our favorite comics and let you know why they might become your favorites too. We never sell comics above cover price. Our "VARIANT" comics are sold for less than anyone else in town, and all of the money goes towards a comic related charity. On July 26th, bring in your old comics, graphic novels, and Sci-Fi books to be donated to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. It's a part of our "Operation Sequential Art" program. Chuck Dixon will be available for signings. On 08.08.08 at 1pm, we will have Claudio Sanchez from Coheed and Cambria in the shop for an appearance.

A Comic Shop that likes to have fun? A Comic Shop that has artist and writer signings? A Comic Shop that has a huge selection of Indy books and not just your everyday superhero crap?
Wait that’s A Comic Shop.
Yes, I’ve seen children in there and yes I’ve seen adults in there and yes I’ve seen college kids in there. All of them excited to be there! All of them in comics for the love of comics! The staff always knows what I’m looking for, which isn’t usually the big two (Marvel and DC). And if I forgot to order it they probably ordered it anyway. Why would they order books that customers didn’t order? Because they know not everyone is going to start a subscription. They never neglect ordering books because of personal bias, so you can always be assured to get what YOU want. Definitely not a Wal-Mart, not a Target, They are A COMIC SHOP! And comics are what they love. Thanks to everyone at A Comic Shop.

I always passed by this comic shop while I was driving through Winter Park while working. I decided one day to stop in after being bored, all I can say was I was shocked at how great the customer service at A Comic Shop was. Normally every comic shop I go to in Orlando is mainly self-service... and then when your ready to check out they practically beg you to be a subscriber. But at A Comic Shop there was never any pressure to do anything and they were asking me if I was good and gave me some great suggestions for additional books. I now made it my comic home and I pass three other comic shops just to come here. Its a well run store and its awesome their owner Aaron takes time out to get to know everyone and is there regularly for his customers. Thanks to all the guys at A Comic Shop!!!!!!

I just moved to Orlando at the beginning of July and had to go through the exhausting task of finding a new comic book shop to go to. As I was searching for comic book shops in my area I saw Thor on the side of the road and decided that I would stop by here first and check it out. Well I had to look no further...this place is definitely the place to shop for comics...the staff knows their stuff and even showed me a couple of new comics that I had never heard of before. I haven't gone anywhere else since. If you have the time and haven't stopped by yet...make the time my friend...you will be happy you did!!! Kudos A Comic Shop! Kudos

These guys singlehandedly got me into comic books, pretty much because theyre the most passionate and enthusiastic bunch of guys I've ever seen doing this sort of thing. I just went in to their store kill some time and they welcomed me into their conversation and made some damn fantastic recommendations. i thought to myself, alright, why not? and i picked up a couple of issues and suddenly my entire viewpoint on comics changed. thanks to these guys for opening up a brand new world for me:)

This place is sooooo rad that I would never go anywhere else for anything. I sleep outside the shop and live inside it during the day, I thrive off the comics for sustenance. Also, their bathroom is clean.

sad to say, but a comic shop is the only place in central florida that has a decent selection of comics.

This comic book store is very friendly and knowledgable. I am voting for them not only because my brother enjoys going to your store when he is ORL but because even though i am not the "comic book individual" they treat me very well and help me when i come in to locate comics for my brother. Great job!

A Comic Shop is THE comic shop, theres no better place to get your nerd on. If I were to rate it on a scale from 1 to super-rad! it would be a super-rad! Aint no skrulls there, hell no, we don't like them types 'round here.

I seriously can't contain what's going on in my pants when i dream about the comic shop. I can't help what happens when i come with in a 15 mile radius of the store it's like I black out and go to a land of pixie stick unicorn people. Thank god for this place.

This was a hard vote for me because I shop mostly back issues. But these guys are the friendliest, funniest, craziest, most KNOWLEDGABLE comic store in the area. I don't look the "graphic novel" type. But they treated me just like everyone else. They knew all the story lines for the most part. And they were willing to order anything I like. I enjoy going in just to shoot the breeze.

He loves you...and by "he," I mean Orlando Weekly's runner up for best local big shot, Aaron Alan Haaland. He's grade septuple A.

I am so impressed with the guys from ACS. They are so helpful and are always pushing the envelope to find the coolest things to bring to their customers. I have found my new favorite comic shop :). I find it pretty amazing that a shop like this had never existed in the Orlando area before. The friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere are a HUGE plus. The creator signings they have in the store are great. I'll certainly go out of my way to shop at A Comic Shop, even though another shop in town is closer and easier for me to get to. You should keep an eye on this shop, they're always doing SOMETHING cool! Especially their charity efforts, those are extremely impressive :)

The guys are some of the most amazing people in the city. The shop is a total haven for geeks and gatherers of all sorts. I will literally drive almost an hour out of my way just to go there and nowhere else. That's saying something.
