My daughter introduced me to B & L and it is a fantastic place where you can find just about anything you want. They will go out of their way to help you find it. If they don't have it, they will search their resources to find it. Gotta love the book pusher...
I am an avid reader and once I walked into B&L Books, I have never looked back. I just love it! They carry a large variety of books at the store and if you can't find a book...they will order it for you. I get my monthly fix there and always leave with a smile! Mary and Dena make you feel at home always greeting you with a smile and by name...they also know what I like and recommend books when I am in a jam. They are definitely the best in town!
Their selection is terrific! It's always such a treat to drop in and browse or drop off loads of books. My favorite bookstore..actually, it's the only bookstore I go to now.
As a former bookseller and an avid reader I can appreciate the friendly and competent way B&L Books is run. Dena and Mary will special order any book and they keep track of every book I buy or rent and they call me when a new book by an author I read is released and available in the store. Mary and Dena know their stock, know their authors and more importantly know what their customers like. Definitely my favorite book store.
Great selection. No one bothers you, they actually let you look around as long as you like. They also take credit cards which a lot of used book stores don't.
There staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to go above and beyond to help the customer. Books are organized well, and easy to search through.
