Featuring 36 challenging holes designed by Greg Norman. International Course-" Home of the annual Del Webb Father Son Challenge” a little more famous and challenging, an authentic links style reminiscent of the great courses on the British Isles. The course features hard and fast playing surfaces, dramatic mounds of both sand and grass, scruffy roughs, firm fairways with ample bump and run opportunities and slick greens. The National course is a little more player friendly and a traditional tree lined American style course, which is carved out of 200 acres of citrus groves and wetlands. It features an out and back design and offers lush gentle undulating and bunker- strategic fairways and creative greens, trees and woods, with water coming into play on a half of dozen holes. Our 30,000 sq. foot luxurious clubhouse offers panoramic sunset views, overlooking both courses and accommodates up to 350 people for a reception, complete with a bagpiper sunset serenade. ChampionsGate is home to David Ledbetter Golf Academy World Headquarters and adjacent to the Omni Orlando resort which features over 730 Luxury guestrooms and villas with over 70,000 Sq. feet of meeting and function space.
ChampionsGate two championship courses are the best in the Orlando area. Coupled with great service and the amenities of the Omni Resort, ChampionsGate gets the highest marks for performance.
Greens are the best in the area and staff and club continue to amaze me with each visit. Kudos to the staff and ownership/management group, they seem to have their stuff together.
Challenging Course, Friendly and accomodating staff, wonderful locker room service, food service available for all occasions, professional staff on site, course kept in excellent condition. Staff is always friendly and courteous.
A great golf course if you enjoy the hustle and bustle of a resort course packed with people. Their greens are great really fast and challenging it would have been nice if the groups in front of mine were fixing there ball marks though. Phenomenal Golf Shop, and bar both with everything you could imagine!! The food on the other hand was good but drab. Overall not a bad course.
I'm not sure there are enough adjectives -- how can a resort be superbly classic and warmly welcoming at the same time? ChampionsGate must have superior management to orchestrate such a complete resort experience.
