Thank you to all who made us top 5 in last years A-list vote. We hope to do it again this year! We have moved!! Our new location at 2450 S. Ridgewood Ave (U.S. 1), in South Daytona is now open. We still feature gourmet grilled sandwiches featuring homemade signiture sauces using the freshest ingredients. The specialty sandwiches are out of this world! A new favorite among the locals (opened in January 2007), we previously were located at the Ocean Walk Shoppes in Daytona Beach, and catered to many tourists who left satisfied and asking if Dimitri's Artisan Sandwiches is a chain. No, we are a small Pop & Mom place, but we love to hear the overwhelming responses from our customers! We have moved to a larger location and will also feature more Greek specialties. Dimitri has started a dinner menu at his new location which includes but not limited to homemade Dolmades (stuffed grape leaves), Greek Pasta dishes(served after 4pm Monday thru Saturday).. We serve Gyro's with homemade tzakiki sauce, Salads with homemade dressings, Hummus, Spinach Pie's, Soups and more, and from time to time Dimitri will throw out some amazing specials that do not appear on the menu.

One of the best Gyro's I have ever had and worth every penny for the real authentic deal. This place really does it right. Why anyone would eat a fast food burger after trying Dimitri's is beyond me!!!

WOW, THIS PLACE RAN OUT OF THE GYRO MEAT THAT THEY ORDER FROM THEIR DISTRIBUTOR, BOO HOO! BUT DIMITRI MADE HOMEMADE LAMB AND BEEF GYRO MEAT, PUT IT ON THE SPIT IN LAYERS AND SERVED IT UP ON PITA...AND IT WAS THE BOMB! VERY CREATIVE! I GUESS THAT IS HOW THEY SERVE IT IN EUROPE!

I do not eat meat and am always looking for deliscious alternatives. The veggie gyro, the veggie delight and the hummus are all excellent. I had a veggie pie on one of my visits (I think it was a special as it is not on the menu) and it was served with a flavorful Greek salad and warm pita.

The best food in town. I am worikng my way down the sandwich menu...ultimate favorites thus far are the Chicken Teriyaki sandwich, and Chicken Feta. The sandwiches are huge and come with a choice of side, I love the Greek potato salad. Gyro's are great as well! Oh and don't forget the Greek Salad.

My husband and I eat out alot and just by chance and running late we I stopped to get us some subs and this was nothing like we had ever had before. We both literally said it was like eating a peice of heaven. I ordered him the Made Guy and my husband is known to ruin food with lots of hot sauce and pepper and this he didn't change a thing. The resturaunt was very clean and had a nice feel to it for a sandwich shop. The employees were very nice and very eager to explain their menu. We will DEFINITLY go back. I even told my neighbor about it and he owns a resturaunt that we are loyal to but without hurting his feelings we told him this place blew his subs out of the water.

My kids and I were visiting daytona and I was looking for something different to eat. I passed
Dimitri's a couple of times and decided to go in and try the chicken basil pesto sandwich they had advertised outside the shop. It was the best sandwich I have every had. I wish they had one of these shops in my city.

All the sandwiches I've tried have been very good, but the flavors of the Italian Combo are exceptional...if you have not tried this place you are missing out!

The sauce they use on the Gyro's is the best I have ever had anywhere, can't wait to go back!
