Far From the Tree formed during Summer of 2006, originally being a 4 piece punk band under the name "We All Fall Down." Now consisting of six members and incorporating a much heavier sound, Far From the Tree has gained position in being a well known local band amongst the Florida Screamo/Hardcore music genre. Far From the Tree has brought its name onto the local music scene through the past year, playing venues such as: Central Station, The Social, The Haven, Island Oasis, and Club Screamers. The band has also had several notable accomplishments, such as placing 2nd in the annual Northland Battle of the Bands, and placing 2nd in the 2008 Central Florida BOTB at Island Oasis. The band is currently in the process of recording their first EP with producer Joe Rodriguez, lead guitarist of the Grammy Award winning 80's band "A Flock of Seagulls" and expects to have it released some time in early summer of 2008.

Far From the Tree is an amazing group of little kiddies. Joe Rodriguez from A Flock of Seagulls helps produce their music so it makes them that much cooler. They seem to have the ambition to do great in the music industry. =)
