Flyin' Footwork Productions was founded by local swing dancers Rob & Dawn Shrewsbury to provide quality swing dance events and lessons to the Central Florida area. Our goal is to keep the spirit of the swing era music and dancing alive. We host swing dances twice a month that feature a beginner swing dance lesson and some of the area's top swing bands and DJs. We also offer group and private lessons in Swing, Lindy Hop, Balboa, Collegiate Shag, and Charleston.
I like the class because it is very organized and they are very attentive. It is a lot of fun and it is a good workout as well. Thanks Rob and Dawn for the great class!!
Dawn and Rob are natural born teachers. They can a nervous unsure dancer and in very little time make them feel like they can just about anything. They should win on character and integrity alone.

After several years within the swing scene, Rob and Dawn are undoubtedly the reason why it is still alive in this area. They regularly provide solid instruction and sponsor nationally known dancers to do the same in Orlando. They also support live music by occasionally bringing in musicians to play at the regular dances. Rob and Dawn are kind, hospitable, and are the heart to the Orlando swing scene while ensuring their new and existing students' success in learning to swing dance.
There are no friendlier or more welcoming dance places around. These guys are absolutely the classiest people around and provide the highest quality of dances for everyone.
My daughter talked me into coming out and I was really pleasantly surprised. As someone who danced in the 40's and 50's, I found this class to be a lot of fun, and reminded me of the "good ol days"!
