After touring clubs around the state....PH is a diamond in the rough. Orlando does have the best gay establishments throughout all of Florida that i have experienced, but thanks to Don, Susan and the entire staff...we have the best of the best!

It is really a shame that PH is listed as a “Gay and Lesbian Bar”, because whether you are GLBT, straight, or utterly confused, PH is the most fun, friendly, and diverse bar in Orlando. There is something happening every night to keep you entertained. Go there a few times a year and you’ll feel at home, like walking into “Cheers” or go there a few times a week (like my wife and me) and the bartenders will have your drink poured and Michael Wanzie will insult you as you step up to the bar!

I love the PH so much I sometimes don't leave for daze! If I squint my eyes (I only see out of one anyways so it doesn't take a lot of effort ) and I believe the Marquee says Wanzie World. My favorite ride is Bartender Mikie. My favorite attraction is Susan's-After-Office-Hours-Liquid-Metting. My favorite resident - Painter Doug Fish (Have you seen the beautiful newly painted decor in the Footlight Lounge and Theater?) My favorite dish is Bartender Mikie. My favorite area is the beach/gazebo at sunset. My favorite point of entry in Bartender Mikie, My favorite Drag Queen is which ever one is within earshot at the time. My favorite free event is the longest running Sunday T-Dance in all of Orlando. My favorite room is which ever one I'm invited into. My favorite annual event is that one that had last year. My favorite performance space is quite seriously the fabulous Footlight Theater. My favorite area of the world famous PH Courtyard is where they let the hot dog vendor set up. My favorite manager is which ever one will cash a check for me. My favorite place to meet and chat is that cleverly redecorated back bar no known as THE SERVICE STATION (to call it the Western Bar is so passe', so tacky, so last year and really shows just how long you've been a barfly who doesn't care to pay cover into the rest of the complex). My favorite drink is which ever one Mikie has stirred with his finger (or any other appendage he may deem appropriate). My favorite relic is...well that's a toss up between Miss Vickie or the drunken Monk statue out front. That monk never moves though..while Miss Vicke did in fact float by in the last Madri Gras parade! My favorite parade in all of Orlando is the PH Madri Gras Parade. My favorite D.J. is Briana Lee because she's bigger than me. My favorite Happy Hour is Beach Blanket Bingo with me and Miss Sammy and Taylor the Illustrated Bartender every Wednesday early evening. My favorite patrons are those who come to see my shows. My favorite game is Balcony Bingo (which is a lot like Beach Blanket Bingo but without the time consuming necessity of actually playing Bingo). My favorite Munchkin is Fred. My favorite security guard is which ever one is jumping out of the way of my car as I leave. My favorite architectural feature is the Glass Block Wall. My favorite safety feature is the Glass Block Wall. My favorite last ditch pick-up spot at 3:10AM is The Glass Block Wall. My favorite call brand is Grey Goose and/or Captain Morgan. My favorite prank call is to the front desk "I'm in room 217 and the curtains are on fire and I tied to the bedposts and can't get to the door". My favorite place to dance is quite seriously the dance floor in Le-Club at the PH - always the most eclectic, friendly, and unusual group of people you'll ever have the pleasure of sharing space with...much like the staff. My favorite thing to share at the PH - humor. My least favorite thing to share at the PH - Bartender Mikie. My favorite hold over from the past - The classic oval Sign...and Bill Lape. My least favorite thing about the Parliament House - last call. My most favorite thing about the PH - how much they give back to the community, which in my opinion, makes it the best G&L Nightspot in Orlando! (Mikie, call me!)

The drag shows alone are worth the trip every Sunday. Great events happening all the time and it's just a fun, friendly atmosphere to be in.

Don & Susan have created an entertainment complex that is everything to all people. Very impressive. All this while proving themselves great philanthropists and community partners.

In addition to the typical clubbing and drag entertainment at other clubs, Parliament offers live bands and theater. The owners also support multiple communities, both gay and straight, around the Orlando area.
