Have eaten at this restaurant since the family started on Aloma with paper plates. Recently the owner was not so hospitable when I had a guess there. Made a small suggestion, and Marie became beligerant about it. They must have had a bad day. The air was not working well that evening. Maybe they were hot.
Stefano's remains our uncontested choice as Number 1 for dining - Italian or otherwise. The friendly atmosphere highlighted by table-side visits by Stefano himself makes eating at Stefano's a truly fabulous experience.
This is far and beyond the best Italian food I've found in this country. If you have never had homecooking in Italy then go to Stefano's and try one of his specials. Not only is the food the best but the man himself really cares about his family, his staff and his coustomers. I've been going to his places since they were serving on paper plates on Aloma and his teenage daughter was waiting on us. It was the best food then and is still the best food now three resturants and more than fifteen years later.
Wonderful staff and great food. Food is delicious and plentiful! The place is clean and smells of great food aromas. It is a great place to go for meals on a regular basis, too.

Absolutely, THE BEST in Orlando. Having been originally from NY, it's pretty tough to find truly authentic Italian but Stefano's delivers. Friendly service and home cooking at its best.
I love Stefano's Trattoria, and so did my 5 other guests I brought in to enjoy a classic Italian meal. Our group and I sat in a private back room where we indulged in calzones, strombolis, antipasto, and those homeade meat balls! Our server Karen was a doll and came highly recommended by Stefano himself. They took care of us as if we were back home with our Italian relatives. I'll bring my gang back everytime.
Out here in the "burbs" we have good chain restaurants with their "mediocre" offerings but certainly nothing that can compare with Stefano's Trattoria. We were thrilled when the number one Italian Restaurant opened here in Winter Springs! We don't have to travel 1/2 across the state for one-of-a-kind fresh food, terrific atmosphere, wonderful service and a chef that personally makes sure his clientele are more than pleased with his creations and his mother's recipes. His red sauce alone is to die for--so you can imagine what his specials do!!!!
