The Haven is the greatest venue I have ever been to. Not to be cheesy, but they are very friendly, they put on great shows, amazing atmosphere, and best of all, they are very VERY supportive of new and local acts. Keep on rocking and we look forward to playing with you guys in the future!
I love the haven for serveral reasons.
One when you walk in there you feel so welcome and not judged for how you lookd or who you are. secondly I love the haven for it's bartenders,Josie kicks ass.
She works his ass off to keep the drinks coming and serve it with a smile I give her much appreication. So beautiful too. Then there's erin, she aslo is so sweet too you when you walk in the door no matter if you want a hard drink or just a shirley temple. The sound guy works hard to play the best kickass metal music in town and I heard the light show is amazing.
So this is just SOME of the reasons HAVEN LOUNGE should WIN!
Not for it's location even though it is closer and safer than downtown and not for it's free parking 24/7 which is a great plus too. but for it's hospitallity. for not caring what you look like or who you are.
They are some of the sweetest,people you will meet that work and play at the haven.
Plus they have some pretty kickass metal bands too.
like MOTIVATED BY SILENCE and ALMOST WINTER etc.
Without a doubt, The Haven is our home away from home! Right when u walk in you're treated like family! The stage & sound is kick-a$$, the staff are top knotch. It's a rockin' place, lot's of good people and great music!!!
The Haven is a terrific venue! Bands love to play there - and the fans love to watch! The stage, sound and lights are excellent and getting even better because management invests in upgrades. The staff is wonderful. It's always a good show at The Haven!!

First off the Owners Pete and Maria, make every musician feel like a ROCK STAR, no matter who your band is.....Then their SOUND GUY, is hands down the best in town!! We give him MADD props just for that and the killer light show that goes along with it, is just a bonus!! The theres the bar tenders and staff, the ones I know personally, Josie, the coolest chick in town, and so sweet, then their door woman, Sandy, simply the nicest person ever!! This place is just hands down so accomidating whether your a signed, national act band, or a local band, trying to be heard!! You cant go there and NOT have a good time! honestly, if LIVE original music isnt your thing? (cant imagine why) but if it isnt you will still have a good time here! The people are just simply the best!! WE LOVE THE HAVEN!! GA MOM and GREAT AWAKEING!!!
The Haven Lounge is not known for it's cheap drinks or it's food(they don't serve any). The Haven Lounge is not one of the down town venues that you would think of for this list and it's not located in tourist central either. It's a little off the usual routs where you would look for great live entertainment but it's got some of the best local bands in town rockin out there almost every night! Some of the bands nominated for the A List under local bands can be found playing on their stage! Bands like Knickers Down, The Sweet Kings and Keltic Fire which combines Celtic folk songs and a rock sound with bagpipes! And they make it sound damn good!
So if your looking for a nice quite bar with resonable drink prices and without the cigurette smoke, look somewhere else. If you want to rock out to THE best local bands in THE most rockin music venue in town, then look no farther than The Haven Lounge!
This is a place that you must take the time to visit. The sound man was awesome and the lights were amazing. We felt at home immediately when we played, and Peter and Maria went out of their way to make sure of it! Josie kept the drinks coming and it was an all around great time. The Haven is a great place for local and national acts! Coletta has played there many a time, infact they have a show on July 18th! And we've even seen Tantric there! Great bartenders and drink prices. Just a good time all around!
The Haven is the best venue EVER!! I've never played a venue that can compare to the Haven, killer sound, kickass staff, and everyone that goes there gets along like family. Ive never been to better shows than the many haven Carnevil shows.............
I've seen several major lable bands play at The Haven. From Tantric to Exodus, light bluesy rock to heavy metal, The Haven offers the best of both worlds.
It gives you an intimate setting in which you really feel like you connect with
the artist on stage., all while providing a full all encompassing sound!
The Haven caters to my wallet too! No ticketmaster charges there!!
The Haven has been been my home away from home for 5 years now and there is no other place I would rather see a metal band. Obviously the person below has never been to the Haven since he or she said "you can tell by the video" rather than bringing up a personal experience. If you haven't been to the Haven you are missing out and the Haven isn't just for metal heads they have a large array of music for everyone.
My band Fields Of Glass has claimed The Haven as it's home base. We played our first show ever there over a year ago, and return there as often as possible. Pete and Maria are long-time allies of ours, and I dare you to find a bartender cooler than Josie! They've just invested in a killer new light set-up, and are planning some extensive remodeling to maximize space inside to accomodate bigger crowds (hence bigger bands!). Come check it out this Friday when we share the stage with Great Awakening, Nilmorta, Bleeding Inc., Splintered Soul, and Fleshweld!

Pete and Maria... best people ever. The Haven makes you feel welcome. Again, the best staff and the best people. They have the best sound and light show out of any other orlando venue. My band Far From The Tree started playing there about a year ago, we haven't stopped since. The Haven is by far our favorite place to play!
