Wow, no place like it in Florida, maybe anywhere. Unbelieveable single pour selection at any price point from Opus One to the $1 per ounce Cab or Chard. Now they even serve hot appetizers along with their cheese bar. THE place to be and be seen in Orlando, I have a wine locker there in which I keep some of my vintage reds for special nights with my best gal.
I was not impressed. I found it to be a place merely to "be seen" and "to go see". The emphasis was on the machines that give you a taste of the wine you chose, not on personal service. There was no wine experts around to ask questions of, per se. Just "here's your glass and your card, have at it".
The particular night I went there it was "elbow to elbow" so it was hard to even sit down to relax.
I admit, I wanted to see what it was all about, but now that I got that out of my system, I'm done.
It looks like Benny has a lot of friends commenting here. I don't know him, and I don't even consider this place to have "bartenders", since I never go when it's crowded....BUT, I wanted to say that it is the best place in Orlando to taste wines, since you can try wines by the ounce, and the choices are vast and varied.
