"Orlando's Thomas Wynn & the Believers . . . As much as I dearly loved the defunct Wynn Brothers Band (with Wynn brother Jordan on bass), the Believers is quickly evolving into a unit that is equally expressive, with an added jolt of Southern rock muscle. Much of the material on Saturday channeled old-school Memphis R&B as much as rock, allowing Wynn to really let his gritty tenor be carried away by the emotion. The Believers is still a family affair and sister Olivia's presence is expanded in the mix. Her work on the keyboard adds texture to the songs and her harmonies with her brother are still mighty fine. Perhaps the high point, in terms of the singing, was an understated turn on The Band's "Evangeline," with Olivia doing a dandy job on the Emmylou Harris part. Guitarist Justin Beckler took a few turns on lead vocals as well, although his most significant contribution was on instrumental solos that straddled the border between country and rock. I went to a Michelle branch concert and they were the opening act and I found my self wishing that they were the main attraction!! not that Michelle wasn't good but they are really really really good!!!! If you have the opportunity to see them you will not be disappointed they have such talent!

Amazing. I saw them for the first time when they played with Poverty Branch and I was absolutely blown away. Not only is their music good, they put on an amazing show.

I've been fortunate to see this band play twice - and twice is not nearly enough. The musical talent and harmony behind Thomas Wynn and The Believers is magical, and there were several different instances that I got chills. Its takes a special type of music to make you feel compelled to dance, and when you can manage to resist dancing - it'll completely satiate your desire for damn good music. Hurry up and finish recording already - and get back to Florida so I can see you play again!

To the ignorant review below... Obviously Y25721 to say the least, has a misguided view of music. Anyone that has heard AM Conspiracy knows they sound like an unfortunatley bad version of Alice in Chains. But this isn't about AM Conspiracy nor should it be. This is about an one of a kind, all-inspiring super group, that is far from slow and whinny! Y25721 would see that if he attended a show and didn't blindly write a bad review. But don't just take it from my review or any other, go see them in person for yourself! They'll show you why there called The Best!
